Chess Podcast 15 - Opening 1

Chess Podcast 15 - Opening 1

: Defend against the Polish opening (1.b4), looking at both 4.d4 and 4.f4 lines. Black play sensible
moves and gains an advantage.

The Polish opening puts pressure on the e5 square but can easily be defended.

As always comments welcome.

I thought that was a very weird opening, and thanks for this video as i think it would help me if my opponent did this strange opening.

Hi Chess Noob,

Thanks for the comment. Yes the Polish and other strange openings (like the Grob) will be covered in time.

I think it's good to know how to setup against these openings, rather than just "how to avoid trap x".

Let me know if there are any subjects you'd like covering in the podcasts.

Best regards,

Mike
